Chapter 3: The Launch
The chapter of the rocket launch is told in two parallel image sequences: from outside the launch pad and from inside an engine. In reality the time lapse of both events isn't the same, the last preparations can take hours while the rocket ignition takes place within a few seconds.
The first outside-view shows the two rocket fuel components and their proportion to the total weight of the rocket. The inside sequence describes the flow of both fuel components, their mixture and ignition. The fuel-burning occurs in two steps to create a higher pressure within the final combustion chamber and increase the thrust.
I'm sure there are a few faults regarding the outside sequence, I found very little informations about this.
